I succesfully made an auto bot for pokermavens, u can launch 10's of players from a single pc and fill your tables, bot uses very little resources, seperate config files can be loaded into bot for different play strategies, timer for auto login-play-logoff...etc..

Keeps your site busy, a MUST program for any poker site !

The main problem in launching a new poker site is it's lack of players, new people come to register and see no one on the site and just leave without returning.

The only solution would be is to create autobots "and run them at least for a couple of month till the site gathers its own players", what do u think guys? is this considered cheating? i guess not since the bot will not be able to see the hole cards of the players.

I think all the Maven's communtiy would love to have such an added value !!

I've looked around and none of the existing bot software I found was compatible with PM. However, before I jumped to the PM software, I purchased the program & source code to a real-money poker site that included working bots. The downside of the software was that it was only windows XP compatible and did not support Vista. If anyone is interested in looking at the source code to get an idea of how the bots operated and in hopes that we could put one together for PM, your more than welcome to it.

I agree. should def. implement auto bots in the program. the trick would be to make the bot go away when someone wants to sit down at the table.

Don't know that I see this happening, but sounds like a great idea to me.

This would be a really cool idea if it gets done. Being able to set the number of bots/table and times they're on would be awesome, especially if they could be made to "eat" chips and act as a 2nd form of a rake if they win.

Not a planned feature. Why would a busy site like CentPoker need a bot anyway?

It's not busy enough.

Could be useful for international players who play at odd hours.
