Next Major Version Release? (8.0)

So I've seen based on the News page that Poker Mavens is over due for a major release in terms of years since last major release. I am looking at the Gold/Pro versions and would hate to spend $500.00 only to have to spend another $250.00 within a year or two...(My games are non monetary gaining. Its a private poker game for people in an MMORPG, they pay in game gold to join the game and win in game gold) as all of the expense is on me and not spread among a club.
The last major release was 2018. Its one of the only things keeping me from springing for PM.
