I get that antes are less of a hassle online than live, but when the tables aren't full the BB ante game/strategy plays differently. It's also an increasingly common format these days.

You can do it now but you just have to have the patience to adjust the structure of tournaments to basically remove the antes period and double the BB from what it is now. Really doesnt require anything be recoded in the software itself.

Not the same as players has to call 2bb instead of 1 and has to minimum raise 4bb instead 2bb. Well technically I guess it's still 1bb with your system, but it's 2bb compared to if there was a BB ante.
