Does anybody know why without changing any settings on the backend at all, Sometimes my lobby has a tab on the right, called open tables, and sometimes it doesn't? Is there a way to hide it all the time.

The first one is Desktop mode and the second one is Mobile mode. The default mode is Auto Detect so it goes to Mobile mode if it detects you have a touch-enabled device. The setting is on the Lobby menu under Options -> Display Settings -> Interface.
