The field says

Select Yes for primary (Balance) or No for secondary (Balance2) funding of the buy-ins, rebuys, and payouts.

It also states

Secondary currency is only supported in the Gold edition.

I own the Pro Edition. Does the Balance2 field have any purpose in the Pro Edition? If I set the Primary Currency field to No for a ring game or tournament, will this have any effect?

I would like to use one balance for ring games and the other for tournaments, but I assume that this won't work without the Gold license?

You will get an error if you try to put a table or tourney online if it's not set for the Primary currency. That's only allowed in the Gold edition.
