Eliminate blinds in games of Dealer's Choice?

Now that we have the option to play Dealer's Choice, using Mixed Choice and Mixed Hands = 1, is it possible to eliminate blinds in this scenario? For instance, in a Ring Game where a player can choose among ten different games when it is their turn to deal, it would seem to penalize the players who are required to contribute the blinds if the dealer selects a game other than stud or razz. When we play in-person games, we ante every hand, but we don't use blinds, because of this problem. Eliminating blinds would also address the issue where a latecomer to the table must wait for the big blind.

This option was not designed as a "dealer's choice" where you switch every hand. Typically you would want to play each game for a full round. But it may be an option I'd consider implementing if there was enough interest.

Kent,

Up until now, that is how we've played -- once around the table for each different game. But in our in-person games (excepting tournaments, of course), we've always played Dealer's Choice. I am excited to try this out this evening in our first online game since I installed the new version. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to improve the product. It has brought great joy to my friends and me during the pandemic years, and I fully intend to keep our online game going. It draws friends from all over the country and internationally.

As a poker player this just seems spurious.. Limit games have their structure such as Razz etc which operate under different rules with Small bet, big bet, ante, bringin vs Omaha and Holdem which operate simply with Blinds only.. But thats just me. To each his own but your really not playing Omaha and Holdem as it was designed or intended if your killing the blinds and using the strict limit format (even fixed limit Holdem and Omaha have blinds not ante and bringin).. They are different games just my .02
