Hey,

I have several, different, groups of guys playing on my server.
When a new player creates an account, he is given the option to fill in the "club name".
The problem is that there are many ways to write a club name, which leads to errors. The human factor never ceases to amaze me.

It would be great if each club would have a unique ID. let's say an alphanumeric, 15 char long-expression. auto-generated by the system.

This way, the ID would be included in the invitation email and will be applied when a new player registers.

You can turn off the in-client registration and handle everything on your own web site, creating the account with an API call. Then you can handle any club ID system exactly how you wish.

Thanks for the quick reply.
It's possible but less than idle.
I don't run a dedicated web site. the players are directed right into the maven.
Also, it will ruin the flow.
