Start Now Tournaments

*Start Now Tournaments start with first two players regardless if the 1st and 3rd player are the ones that have checked start now

Not sure I follow. If your "Start Now" setting is "2" then any two players can check the box and it will start. The order of the players in the registered list is irrelevant.

Example

Heads Up Start Now

Player 1 Registers and Clicks Start Now*
Player 2 Registers and doesn't click Start Now
Player 3 Registers and Clicks Start Now*

Players 1 & 3 should play each other, but in the current system Players 1 & 2 are given the seats.

In a 2-seat tournament, player 3 would be in the overflow. He doesn't get to jump in line over player 2. Now you could make the case that a player in the overflow should not get a vote (which is what the Start Now feature is). But in your particular case, you could just set "Start when full" to make a sit and go so that it starts when the 2nd player registers.
