Re: DEAD BUTTON ERROR AFTER BUST OUT
Thank you for providing the explanation and reasoning for using the "Forward Moving Button" system. The way I interpret it, it seems that this method is more so designed for Ring game play, not tournament play. I reference the following from Poker Stars "This is because online, players will join and leave games much more often. A table can go from 9 players to 2 players, and then back again in just a few moments." Never have I ever played a tournament in a casino that did not use the "Dead Button" method. Being honest, I can not recall one way or the other how this situation is handled in tournament play online. Oh well, it is what it is. Thanks for the response.

Re: DEAD BUTTON ERROR AFTER BUST OUT
Either way, someone gets a benefit. I prefer to let someone skip a blind (which won't matter if they play the hand anyway) than let someone get the button two hands in a row. A dead button on your left is the same as you having the button again.DeepStacksPoker wrote:The way I interpret it, it seems that this method is more so designed for Ring game play, not tournament play.
