I have set up poker maven pro on Amazon aws. I bought a domain name on godaddy. What is the next step to get it link where my players can go to my domain name and it takes it to my poker maven server. Sorry if it's a simple question. I want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Thanks

There are two ways to do it. You can let GoDaddy handle the DNS by going into your GoDaddy account and adding an "A" record to your DNS settings that points to your IP address at AWS. Do not use GoDaddy's URL Forwarding feature. The other way is to let AWS handle the DNS and then go back to GoDaddy and enter AWS's name servers there (there are usually either 2 or 3 of them).

If you are not going to run an IIS web server on your AWS account then you should change your File Port setting in Poker Mavens to 80. Otherwise you will have to include the port number on the end of your domain (such as www.example.com:8087).

Does your raw IP address work? If not you have to open ports in your firewall(s). See the last paragraph in item 2 of the FAQ:

the raw IP address still works and we still play last night. Not sure why the domain name is not link to the IP address.
