Version 6.17 pro.
Using the console interface, I was editing the payout structure. As soon as I double-clicked on the field to open up the box to edit the structure, I got an error message. It didn't seem to interfere with my ability to edit, but it's always alarming. I've attached a screenshot.

Re: Error message when editing payout structure
Export that tournament to a file and email it to me. I'll have a look.

It's not just one tournament. I even tried taking a default everything and it still did that. I'll doublecheck and get back to you.

Re: Error message when editing payout structure
So I tried the following:
1). Added a tournament.
2). Changed NOTHING whatsoever.
3). Edited the tournament
4). Went to the payout structure and double clicked
Same error message.
I don't think that it's anything I'm doing in any specific tournament. Is it possibly something in the server configuration? Or could it simply be a bug?

Can't duplicate that and have no other reports of it. Try shutting down and restarting the program and see what that does.michaelmlevin wrote:I don't think that it's anything I'm doing in any specific tournament. Is it possibly something in the server configuration? Or could it simply be a bug?
Re: Error message when editing payout structure
If this helps I managed to replicate on version 6.17. Below also contains a work-around to get rid of this error (restarting may also fix).
1. Create new tournament and leave all defaults as is.
2. Edit newly saved tournament and edit Payout Structure
3. Click on bottom line of payout structure highlighting the 'Percentages' column. (make NO changes just have percentages column highlighted for bottom row). Click OK.
4. All Tournaments will now display error when editing payout structure.
5. If you delete any Bottom line of payout structure the error will go away for ALL tournaments.
Sure there are other ways to fix and replicate.
Hope that helps replicate and temporary fix. To get rid of issue just create a dummy new tournament. Edit payout structure. Delete bottom row and the error goes away for good.

Thanks, I was able to replicate the error. Restarting the program also fixes it but I'll provide a permanent fix in the next update.Robbi1k wrote:If this helps I managed to replicate on version 6.17.

Re: Error message when editing payout structure
I tried the create-a-default-tournament then delete-last-payout-line fix. It worked! ! !
Thank you again, Kent.
