showing hands of opponents?

Newbie, just downloaded the trial for evaluation for home games. 2 players tested. During this limit texas game, both players had the table options check box checked for the muck config (99% sure - we didn't know it was an option until later seeking it out and checking).
One player (greenPanther) ticked the checkbox to show hand (the player who bet). When this happened the log showed the hands of BOTH players. This didn't seem like expected behavior. - seems like the player that called would have been auto mucked? Any thoughts on a config I've got set wrong or potential bug? Screen capture attached of the hand which may provide some insight? Thanks!

If there is a showdown (as there was in your example), all remaining hands are shown. The Auto Muck option only applies to the winner after everyone else folded to him.

So there is no way to muck the curds in a showdown. If we all check to the end and I don't want to show my cards, there is no way to muck my cards so the others will not see them (like folding at the end without showing). Am I correct?

That's correct, everyone has a right to see any cards that went to a showdown. Some sites like PokerStars will allow a muck but put those cards in the replay/handhistory window so anyone can see them anyway. Poker Mavens doesn't waste everyone's time doing that.
