So, I rebuilt my PM server a couple of days ago due to a new hard drive install. Got it up and running and played for about 4 hours and then a weird thing happened.
For context, the device my PM server runs on is an Intel NUC13 (core i7-1360p, 32 GB DDR5, Gen4 nvme ssd, 7600XT egpu, wired LAN, etc) with plenty of horsepower. It is also my DIY Steam Big Picture gaming console, my YAC Reader Library server, Poker Mavens server and Plex server as well.
While playing last night I had an rdp session open to the PM server so that I could catch up on new installs like Steam games and whatnot. Typical stuff you have to do after a fresh OS install. All that went fine, no issue. I had to go to bed for work the next day and before I was about to logout of the table, I closed my rdp session. For some reason, this caused the PM server to tank. There was a min or so delay between typing something in chat and it appearing, probably actually longer. I had no action buttons even though remote players report it was blinking on me and waiting for me to act. I couldn't logout, couldn't login. I thought let's see what happens if I reconnect my rdp session. As soon as I did, everything went back to normal.
This seems pretty odd to me.

Re: Weird Network Blip with my PM Server
It's likely nothing to do with the PM software. It's hard for me to say since the only way really to troubleshoot it at that moment was to reconnect with rdp, which removed the issue symptoms and impact. I would have had to go downstairs to the living room and troubleshoot the pc locally. At 2am, wasnt too interested in doing that.
I just thought I would share this in case it was useful for anyone.
