Hello,
This is my second time I lose access to the server.
In the error log I see people trying to access remote admin and API
“Failed API attempt from ‘IP’ (API Not enabled)”
“Failed remote admin attempt from ‘IP’ (remote admin not enabled)”
I always disable remote admin and API, but what happen is I lose the access to my server, this is the second time.
Please any advice how to protect my server from hacker.
Thank you
Server down

Dear Kent Briggs,
I checked with the company that I’m renting server to see what happen.
They told me my VPS was Experiencing load issue.
The server I’m using is intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2678 v3 @ 2.50 GHz
4 GB (RAM)
On the time the server crashed I had maximum 13 user logged in.
What do you think it’s an attack on my server ?
And thank you I’m using Cloudflare now

Re: Server down
13 logins is next to nothing so that can't be the issue. Keep an eye on the Thread count displayed on status bar. And of course with Cloudflare, you can monitor traffic and blacklist specific IP addresses.
