Issue w/ "Multiple logins from same IP address not allowed"
Issue w/ "Multiple logins from same IP address not allowed"
I'm running into an issue with the multiple IP address feature.. My user account is not logged in anywhere but I'm getting the "Multiple logins" message. I logged out of every device and double checked to be sure, and my user/IP address isn't even listed as a connection in the administrator panel. Disabling the multiple IP feature does fix it, but when turning it back on I still get the message. For the heck of it I added my IP to the whitelist while the setting was on and still received the message. Any ideas?

While that error message is displayed in the client, make a screenshot of the Connections tab in the server console and send it to me.

Re: Issue w/ "Multiple logins from same IP address not allow
You didn't mention the magic word: Cloudflare.
Those are their IP addresses because they intercept all your traffic (for DDOS protection and anonymity). Do this:
System tab -> Server Settings -> Proxy IP Header = CF-Connecting-IP
That will pull the user's real IP out of the headers that Cloudflare sends to you.

Gah, I feel like a dummy. Thanks, Kent.

Me too. I was just going to live with the fact that all I was seeing was Cloudflare IPs.
This helps immensely.
