What would be the hardware requirements to host a server with Poker Mavens? How much players would 512mb RAM with 1000Mhz support? How well does it scale? Is it possible to use multiple servers for the same poker client?

Any Windows machine running Win 2000 or later will run Poker Mavens. How many players depends on several factors, including CPU speed and internet bandwidth. And whether you are sharing those resources with other accounts on a VPS or have them to yourself on a dedicated machine. The fastest systems can support a few hundreds players online at any given time. The only way to scale that is to purchase multiple licenses and run them on different servers, and then create a central login system on your own web site and redirect players to those servers.

Can you give me an example of server hardware? What would 512MB and 1000Mhz support?

That would probably be at the low end. Any number would be a wild guess. Other programs and windows services will also be using that hardware. Internet speed is vital. What a hosting service advertises and what you actually get, both upstream and downstream, may be completely different.
